The BIRKENSTOCK Rio model is a classic kids’ shoe. Designed back in the 1970s, it has been a laid-back summer companion for generations ever since. BIRKENSTOCK has reinterpreted the Rio sandal in fun playful colors and high-quality synthetic material. Modeled on the cork sandal, it is made from the ultra lightweight and highly flexible synthetic material EVA.
FIT TIP: Birkenstock footwear has a roomy fit. The Medium/Narrow fits most comfortably and is similar to most Regular widths from other brands.

Founded in 2012 by Stacey and Anthony in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, we aimed to create a special kids’ shoe store with a true sit-and-fit experience.
In 2014, we expanded by acquiring and renaming a local toy store to Runnin’ Wild Toys, becoming neighborhood favorites.
